Hi folks, I’m back…tanned, rested and ready for more exciting Gil Thorp action! Thanks again to KAZ-BOT (and KAZ-BOTO) for filling in. I imagine they’ll be helping me out again in the future…though it’s clear that a week of this nonsense nearly overloaded their circuits.
So what did I miss? Thankfully only one plot has been advanced…which can be summed up in four words: Someone mysteriously clubbed Tyler! (Fewer words than comics…how about that?) And where was I, you ask? Would you believe Maui? I sure hope so…looks like this thing’s gonna get pinned on that psychopath R.J Brennan, so I’ll just keep my mouth shut.

Panel 1: A conspiracy afoot! And who has stolen Gil’s pupil?
Panel 2: Random kids eating mysterious objects and discussing the conspiracy. Is he eating a deck of cards?
Panel 3: Oh boy! Brynna Blake has a theory! I wonder if her planting floor tiles (which can be used to club people) in someone’s locker is part of her theory? I guess she doesn’t realize that is supposed to be done when nobody is looking.

You should all leave the poor he-she alone. It probably cost a lot of money to purchase the original Suck-Cut® that was featured in the first Wayne’s World movie. (“Well, it certainly does suck!”)

“Gil Thorp” strikes a blow for human rights: Androgynous Mullet Person is the first comics character in history to transition from male to female in three panels! Definitely boyish in panel 1, but check out the hooters in panel 3. (S/he also rocks the mock turtleneck!) And is that Dick Cavett sitting to his/her left?
As for Brynna… she may be trying to equate R.J. Brennan with Mitch Cozad, but we all know the truth: she bopped Tyler on the head so she could pin the rap on R.J. Devious bitch! (You can tell when she’s lying, because her antennae tumesce.)

AMP is my new favorite character of all time. I think martin said it best when he decribed AMP as a hermaphroditic redneck Harry Potter. I can only pray that AMP will turn out to be the crux of all six (or is it seven?) current storylines.
Also, I’ve finally managed to wrest my attention away from AMP long enough to look at Brynna’s hideous expression in Panel 2. Is she supposed to be weeping? Or did she suddenly come down with Late-Onset Down’s Syndrome?

AMP’s figure in Panel 3 is remininscent of the odd, amalgamated Mommy-Daddy hybrid that’s been spotted in Family Circus of late.
