This Week in Milford

November 20, 2013

Not dead yet…

Sorry folks, despite my best efforts to kill this blog through negligence and inattention, I think there’s many folks who want to keep it alive. In a blink of an eye a month passed since my last post calling for replacement bloggers. A number of folks volunteered their efforts through e-mail or the comments section, so here’s what I’ve done: I’ve emailed out a chatroom link to all interested parties (no registration required) where we can hash out the details of who wants to post when (perhaps a different person each day of the week?) Once the details are confirmed I can then give blog access to all of you fine volunteers.

If you are interested in joining this chat, but didn’t receive a link from me, let Marty Moon know, I’ll send ya an email with the link. I promise we’ll get this ironed out within the next week before I go all Mr. Bakst on ya.

In the meantime, here’s whatever crap that is going on in the latest comic. Comment awayyyyyyy!

  1. This is a very promising storyline. If Tip gets shanghaied onto the team, has a concussion and paralysis, and sues Milford for $10,000,000, will it be the end of our long national nightmare Gil Thorp

  2. Is that, is that Tipp’s cheerleading warmup outfit? I only ask because it seems to have a very questionable bulkiness in the rear – given that he’s a gymnast and all – combined with what’s gotta be the most uncomfortable snug fit in the crotch in P2. I think someone on CC already pointed out that good old number 77 either has no head or has somehow impaled Tipp upon his helmet.

Just wait til Angie ‘I need a man and you’re one’ Sanchez finds out about his defection. Will she break up with the silent John Pascoe who may or may not have had a hand in all of this?

The mind reels at the possibilities… .

  3. I like how the new Milford “M” logo is really just the top of Batman’s head.

    Glad to have TWIM back.

  5. as long as Nunn gets paralyzed from the forehead down, I’m good with it.”I’m an artist”. Afraid not son. You’re a paperweight.

  6. Tip didn’t have to catch the ball, but he did. Why not throw it back instead of running onto the field?
He wants to play, he really wants it.

  7. Along the same lines of Knoxy’s joke, it does seem inevitable that Tipp is going to suffer some gruesome injury that will leave him unable to pursue gymnastics. Or, possibly, a serious head injury that knocks him out of that fancy-pants AP chemistry course.

  9. Whelp, I guess Tipp is OK and it is some other poor schmucks who have been caught in the escalating maelstrom of carnage and disease known as the Milford Varsity Football team. I think today’s (11/26) panel two should become a stock panel for whoever takes over the reins of this blog whenever disaster strikes. Fortunately, we see that Chip and Hamani were wearing their seatbelts, their bright red officially licensed by the Milford Athletics Department seatbelts.

  10. Gil’s like Freddy Kruger. Love him or hate him, you can really never write him out of the script.

    TWIM lives!!!!!!!
