The prom pity party proceeds

Now its Amys turn to be unhappy with all her good fortune; this storyline was going along just fine until this silly dance thing. They have a way of just dragging us by our chins on the pavement for days and days until finally we wake up one day and Poof – the story is over and we have some new nerds we never heard of. Thats why I say thank God for Marjie Ducey; she’s the only character that doesnt waste time getting her points across. Hope this dance ends before these two figure out who their worst enemy is – – themselves.

Time for another song to cheer us up:

  1. Wow — change the ridiculous dialogue, but keep everything else about today’s strip (especially the facial expressions), and it’s just the way I remember my prom.

  2. What really smokes my shorts is how mechanical all this is. When we met Lucky he was getting 2 black eyes and a pitcher on his head & thinking how Lucky he Was! Now things are OK & he’s all draggy. Coach Thorp gets to point this out. OOOH! What deep bleeding insight.

It is to gag. On a spoon.

  3. An American Werewolf in London –
The only way to stop the curse is to kill yourself. No, we can’t do it for you. You have to do it yourself.

  4. Go and check out p2 of the June 3rd strip. Now review panel 3 of this strip. This guy needs to stop with the closeups. And he needs to stop trying to draw hands. On second thought, he should keep drawing all this since whenever he does, hilarity ensues.

When did Amy get a letter “M” tattooed to her lower lip (again p3)? These kids with their lip tattoos, roof diving, and mushroom hunting.

  5. Isn’t the baseball team on a winning streak? At the very least they overcame adversity to gut out a tough win after Lucky blew the perfect game. What the hell is he talking about?

  6. Obligatory, “Time for Lucky to get lucky” joke?

  7. Props to Lucky for pulling off the David Byrne style Stop Making Sense suit for his tux prom.
