We may finally have a winner

I love how True exhorts his teammates facing away from them. Really odd angle in P2; if the ball is coming from where the receiver is looking, why is the yard stripe vertical? It should be horizontal. P3 has the play they got True for; the big bomb downfield to stretch the defense and score instantly from anywhere on the field. For all his rah-rah, Jarrod cant make that play. Will this finally be the moment Marty says “Milford wins the state championship”? Or will they find another way to let it slip through their fingers?

  1. The chalk line IS strange in P2. Unless that’s a sideline, I’m thinking this must be recycled art from a flat pass. We don’t know yet if the receiver controlled the reception in P3, nor do we have anything in this game echoing the conflicts of the season. Aristotle would not be pleased. But Mfnrd will be. ‘Scuse me– I’m going down to PUB to listen to the rest on WDIG.

  2. Uh, True, you shoulda been taking it to them two quarters ago.
Milford doesn’t win, no holy cows, the goalposts remain unmolested.
