It’s one stop shopping with Bobby Howry. He’ll help you with your dribble drive, tune up your brand and he’ll even supply you with prescription drugs (presumably, see comments from previous post discussing likelihood of placebo deployment). Just don’t ask him for a towel.

In the interim, there’s this other basketball team that we sort of care about but not really. How about a panel of that?

  1. I guess after getting Gil a football state championship trophy, Rubin is back to dashing playdown expectations in a variety of silly ways. PED suspension this time.

I guess he figures that Jerry B. Jenkins missed out on part of the PED topic when he wrote future 3 sport pro Jarvis White back in the late 90’s.

  2. “In the interim…” That’s funny. Rubin himself apparently doesn’t give a shit either. Panel III must be some sort of Title IX requirement.

  3. Good catch, g2design. Serial strips usually use “Meanwhile…” when switching between sub-arcs. “In the interim” suggests that the Lysol sub-arc is secondary to the Bacon sub-arc.

Little bit of freak hands action in P3 especially as regards Lysol’s index finger.

  4. If this is a sample of how Future Coach Bobby Howry handles fatigued players, I see a whole mess o’ scandal in his future. I mean, even if Gil and Kaz don’t give a damn, why doesn’t F.C.B.H. advise Max to talk to his coach instead of taking unprescribed drugs?

  5. I think Milfordian nailed it yesterday– he’s going to give Bacon Tic-Tacs or something. If the issue is fatigue, the standard PED move would certainly not be Adderal anyway, but amphetamines.

  6. Man, there have been a lot of extreme closeup center panels lately. I do not particularly want to have to add a tag for that.
