Today’s strip has a Grease-like feel to it as some Lady Mudlarks get Lysol to “tell them more, tell them more” about her date with Bobby. Over burgers and bottled water, Lysol reveals little about Bobby. We don’t even find out how the date ended, though they probably kissed pretty hard given that Lysol’s mouth has shifted from beneath her nose.

Panel 3 leaves us with Lysol picking up the baton of unpaid Milford coach. Still no Mimi sighting this season beyond her appearance in the Christmas Day strip.

  1. Nisha doesn’t look happy in panel 3. “Oh, so you spent your date night talking about my basketball deficiencies? Wonderful. What did the little shit say about me?”

  2. Wait, they’re still at Ricozzi’s? Eating off cafeteria trays? That one pixel gap between Lysol’s hair and the serif font Z on the window is throwing me.

Oh wait, now I get it; the time-break between P1 and P2. It’s Monday of next week already. Geez, I could sure use some helpful narration to track the telescoping and compressing time signature of this story arc.

  3. “Call of Duty?” BobbyBoy seems more like a World of Tanks type.

  4. What utensil is that young woman holding in panel two? I first thought it was a spoon but the shape is all wrong. My second guess was a chisel blade but a quick images search ruled that out too. Then I noticed her sticking that gruesome index finger into her side dish of mystery and realized i didn’t want to think about it anymore.

  5. My guess is a tiny spatula, a demi-spatula, perhaps.
