Is He A Playa? Is She A Playa Hater?

Folks, I don’t know what is going on here. Is True a Pickup Artist? Is Boo going to intentionally hit opposing batters* because of… wait, what just happened there?

* In case anyone doesn’t remember me saying this about a year ago: I know almost nothing about baseball and softball as they are played in high school.

Bonus point: P2 – That is not how you hold a burger!

  2. So is True finished with lunch after taking one bite of his burger, or is he ostentatiously moving to another table to finish eating?

  3. See you guys later. I’m gonna eat the rest of my burger over at that table with Ratso Rizzo, Popeye Doyle and Snake Pliskin (who are incidentally all members of Boo’s softball team).

  4. The True-Tang Clan is attempting one of those “mic-drops” he’s heard so much about. Not sure this is really how it works.

  5. No YouTube video of Dumb and Dumber singing Mockingbird ?

  6. I am guessing that Boo will show up at the Tilden game, and that after True has beaned the umpire a couple of times, will offer him a control tip. I admit I am surprised he got up from the table, though, and did not continue with his repartee. First even remotely rude thing we’ve seen him do.

  7. I may have that backward. Boo’s teammate may mean that Tilden SOFTBALL players will be the subject of Boo’s displaced irritation with True.

  8. Boo is learning about logarithmic scale, orders of magnitude, that sort of exponential math stuff. Kinda like the Richter scale of douche-ness. She got schooled, that’s for sure.

“So, you, Boo; your snark score is a 1.0. Me, True; mine is a 2.0. No, not twice as much, beotch: ten times!”

  9. I am fine with the snarkiness– these are teenagers. I like them both and am eager to see how this plays out. Is anybody else wondering about the fact we have never heard word one about True’s mother? I have a sense that is important.
