Is this a potentially pro football camp or a scoliosis ward? I guess I should google Rey Lujan. I guess I did. Not much to work with there.

I think I’m going to file this one under Boredom In Milford and go to sleep.

  1. “Rey Lujan” is an anagram for “Jury Lane.” 12 Angry Quarterbacks, maybe?

  2. Panel 3 makes it look like they are attending a Tyrolean yodeling camp.

  3. And furthermore, this camp in particular is just trying to get these kids “hooked on Tronix”. (sorry, that one was pretty cheap)

  4. Rey apparently isn’t from a big suffisticated city like Milford, where college scouts are an everyday occurrence. Imagine he actually flattered by getting some attention rather than pissed off about it. No doubt he will not be recruited by some high powered football factory like Miami of Ohio.

  5. What do you get when you play Tron while eating Trix?

  6. Intentional reference or not, The Airing of Grievances is an awesome album by the Cystic Franks, I mean, Titus Andronicus. T.A. will be this generation’s Replacements or R.E.M.; 30 years hence.

  7. Darn it, Ned Ryerson, you were way too fast for me on panel 3 with your Tyrolean Yodeling Camp line. I was going to say the boys were rehearsing their rendition of “The Lonely Goatherd” for the camp Talent Show.
