Not much we haven’t seen before in panels one and two, but does anyone remember when Gil was complaining to Kaz about how steamed Mimi was about the return of Holly Dobbs?  Maybe there’s a reason Gil wanted the cameras off yesterday is what I’m getting from this…

  3. Even to Marty, criticizing the coaching of a state champion has to seem a bit self defeating, surely. Maybe he’s turning into Herc the Mauler, longing for the sound of boos.
And all the high school kids say “Huh? Not radio, I was streaming music.”

  4. Good to see Marty isn’t a quitter like CC Sabathia.

  5. Since we all know it’s coming in some fashion, how will Holly’s show go down in flames?

    a. Gil finds a boring legal loophole that shuts it down
    b. Marty’s drinking lands himself and Holly in the hospital
    c. Producer Bobby Bittman-Travolta decides to replace Holly with Sacko and Hatt
    d. Producer Bobby Bittman-Travolta gets caught telling Polish jokes on camera
    e. All of the above

  7. All of Billy’s scenarios seem possible. The one he left out is that the superintendent and the school board emerge from anesthesia and shut this travesty down. But given that Whigrub appear to think a school would actually allow itself to be made into a reality show, I will go with Marty going over the edge and producing an actual scandal instead of an imagined one.
