Boy oh boy, the new show is the hit of water-cooler conversation; now all we need is an actual water cooler. Hey, it was so good that the only student at Milford with a VCR (as opposed to a DVR) had to rewind the taped show she didnt have time to watch last night and watch it again this morning! Woo-hoo ratings! Notes? Who knew it was so good there were clues to pop quizzes in it?? Hey, dont talk too loud, Holly’s eavedropping on us in her classroom. And she’s anxiously awaiting a tweet from a student she doesnt even follow, so she can check #newbadhighschoolrealityshows on Twitter. Trending #thorpdoesntgiveacrap. Hey, I’m good with #marjieduceyishot.

Time for a song:

  1. I swear Gil’s pose in P3 is a recycle. Good thing Kaz is there to trick the unwary into wondering what the “C” on Gil’s coffee cup stands for.
Holly’s room seems to be sporting some fine Prairie Windows, too.

  2. I wish I’d been at the meeting.
NETWORK EXEC: “Do you have a social media strategy?”
ALAN: “Holly’s going to ask some 15 year old girls at the school to Tweet about it!”
    NETWORK EXEC: “I’ll say it slower. Do … you … have … a … social … media … strategy?”
Finally, I realize that nothing about this seems remotely realistic, but panel 3 implies that Mimi watched the show and did not warn Gil what to expect at school.

  3. Did Gil not see the show because he didn’t care, or because he went on a weekend-long bender once the football game was over?

  4. If I make a picture, I will hire Philip, who closed with “panel 3 implies that Mimi watched the show and did not warn Gil what to expect at school,” to handle what we call “continuity.”
