Mmmrrooooowrr….fffffffft!

Yeah baby, here we go! Gloves off, hands up, bracelets a-janglin’! C’mon Mimi, make Beau Dandy proud!

Quick aside: Is Mimi coaching a fall sport that we don’t know about? Or is Holly’s wish to be passed along to Gil, like some kind of STD?

Oh, who cares? Let’s get it on! This post is late ’cause I went down the YouTube rabbit hole of “best catfights” and lost track of time. Instead of choosing one (I’ll leave that to the comments) how ’bout a musical tribute to today’s strip?

  1. Of course, this has been a completely unrealistic depiction of the way reality television works. But. There is NO WAY that the producers would miss getting footage of Gil and Mimi the morning after the first episode aired (probably on a cable channel that only appears on the Time Warner Milford lineup). They’d have at least two-camera coverage of the Holly-Mimi confrontation.

  2. Also, after receiving a glare that could make Ronda Rousey back down, Holly would not be begging Mimi to wait.

  3. So, Gil has a personalized coffee mug with GIL in big block letters, and Mimi has an identical mug with her name in swirly, swoopy font. And I bet those i’s are dotted with little hearts. Ugh.

  4. There is often a reason a strip appears on a particular day of the week. Notice that we now have a day off from Mfnrd, where the porn producers specializing in female on female violence are filming the action on the faculty room floor. But since this is Mfnrd, the violence will be confined to proper verbal threats such as “I’ll smear your eyeshadow, you hussy!”

  5. Ah, well. Let us adjourn with fond wishes of what catfights may come.

  6. I wonder how much money is in the “coffee fund”?

  7. […] @ Tilden ??? (still not sure if this was why Holly wished Mimi good luck) […]
