This Week in Milford

That Sinking In Feeling

I’m not sure if we’re getting some denouement but whatever it is, we’re getting it pretty thick I suppose. In any case, Gil is delivering the verbal smackdowns the best way he knows how – somewhat orthogonally.

Will experienced Hollywood operators Alan and Holly give him any pushback? Probably not.

Bonus point: that is a hell of an avant garde wall clock there, what with the hands of the clock not being centered and no discernible numerals. I think I’d give it wallspace in my space age bachelor pad.

  1. How cool is it to get two rants on the same strip tonight! Is this the first time this has ever happened? Amazingly different takes, and each with a youtube song link! What are the odds?

  2. So we haven’t seen Gil around in a couple of weeks because he’s been secretly recording the TV crew with hidden cameras? That’d either be poetic justice or the ultimate in hypocrisy, depending on how you look at it.

  3. Poetic, really: The mind reads “The Tempest” on the blackboard, but what is actually written is “The MPest”. As in, the Milford Pest?

    I’m trying, guy’s, I’m really trying…

  4. I posted cuz there wasnt one yet, and I guess Tim didnt see mine since it was 9 minutes later. I would never jump over someone, so I’m sure it was a case of 2 close posts. No biggie.

  5. Yep. A bit of a delay due to it being an unusual travel day for me yesterday. I took a peek to see if there was a post and there wasn’t so put mine up. As a result, we now have some evidence that it takes me about nine to ten minutes to post a ‘quick’ post. Definitely not a big deal at all and kinda cool to see the two different takes, especially as we both invoked a play on ‘sinking’.
