metapost: Hangin’ with Mr. Bakst

Due to a potent cocktail of travel delays and nagging ailments, yhs was off the grid from late Wednesday to late yesterday, when I snapped the above photograph. If the palmetto trees aren’t an immediate hint, I’m in Charleston, SC, where Mr. Bakst and I are tipping back some Christmas morning cocktails on the piazza.

My thanks to Tim for covering for me yesterday. I’ll not post the annual Thorpmas post but leave that to Rob, and will be back tomorrow. Merry Christmas, y’all!


  1. I notice that Mr Bakst, while cited, is not pictured, thus the tradition continues. It is better this way.
