Kenzie the Stilt

So now that Kenzie knows how to shoot free throws, albeit underhand, she’s all set to dominate right? I never saw Rick Barry or Wilt Chamberlain play live, but I understand both shot them underhand, and Rick was great and Wilt was awful.

  1. That looks like it could be Kenzie in that how to video. And I think she’s holding a discus.

  2. Kenzie watches a video, and quickly becomes an effective rebounder. She watches another video, and starts hitting her free throws. What else might she accomplish with ten minutes and an iPad?
    1. Land an F-18 on a carrier deck
    2. Manipulate the LIBOR 3-month yen
    3. Remove a medulloblastoma from an otherwise healthy brain

  3. Kenzie is definitely a quick study. A few weeks into her first season of basketball, she’s rebounding like Dennis Rodman, and, apparently, will now shoot the lights out with free throws. She has, in other words, all the makings of a secret weapon. To put it in hobbit terms, this is unnatural, and will have to be paid for.

  4. I am savoring Mimi’s demonstration of her mastery of the ways of Coach Thorp. Once you have someone doing your coaching for you (for free!), there’s really not much left to do but sit back and enjoy your Irish coffee.
