Pulling The Post Title From The Dialogue Might Be a Little Too Easy Today

Yeah, panel one might just almost sum up writing this blog. A few folks think it’s cool, but you’re never going to see them because it all takes place online. Also, the writing of the posts often occurs around the time, or immediately thereafter, of coffee making.  Wheels within wheels, my friends.

Not much else to say about panels two and three other than that Max really needs to work on his (romantic) game.

  1. Metacomment: Maybe I just haven’t had enough coffee yet, but I can’t identify the easy post title within the dialogue.

  2. What are you a wimp? That’s what she said. There you go, being intimidating again. Or is it, intimi(notdating) again. Get it?

  3. Pretty cool view from the espresso machine, which is nicely detailed. Props to Whigham. Almost seems like part of a graphic novel today.

Good grief, am I complimenting? I will understand if my posting privileges are suspended.

  4. Well, Moon – if that is your real name – I think there’s actually a bit of fodder for snark in the illustration of panels two and three so have at it and all will be forgiven!

  5. Freaks in Comics Getting Coffee! (That took me 6 additional hours!)

  6. There’s always room for snark, but I agree with Moon about the espresso machine and will add that the drawings in general are incomparably better than those of the previous artist. Have to say that panel 3 is downright provocative. Milford girls do not say things like “You’re giving me a funny sensation between my toes– the big ones–” but panel 3 comes close. As the saying goes, “Watch this space.”

  7. Why does the machine have both a button And a handle? I wouldnt know, dont frequent these places, I either drink my coffee at home before work or at restaurants. Ned Ryerson – the title should be What are you, a wimp? Sounds like a Donald Trump line to Ted Cruz after the New Hampshire primary. lol.

  8. @ 7:58 Ned: Oh, I had a half dozen or so in mind. Mostly along the lines of “Apparently Intimidating”, “(Baby) It’s Cold Out There!”, “A Wimp?”. I didn’t say the titles were gonna be funny, just that they were easy.
