Ken Brown: The Man Maxwell Bacon Could Smell Like

tmgil160324

Missing something here. Didn’t Bacon tell Kenzie he couldn’t “do this anymore” a couple of days ago, or was that a mutual decision? Either way, you’re no longer MaxKenzie, so stop moping about it. Hey, is that Ken Brown looking all Old Spice Man? Maybe he’s off to underachieve in the showers.

Kenzie’s on-court presence or lack thereof shouldn’t be having that big an impact on the Lady Mudlarks’ results either way – she’s not the star, right? On the other hand, as this year’s designated heckler target, she should be drawing fire away from her teammates and helping them improve in the process.

  1. I’ll take actual basketball action when we can get it, even if it is only depictions of poor one-on-one defense and a foul shot.

  2. Max needs to trim those shoulder hairs.

On a more substantive note, I would think that the over the top heckling, while surely most harrowing for its primary target, would have a detrimental effect on the whole team by creating such a hostile overall environment. Just my two cents…

  3. It’s no wonder Milford topped Jefferson, if #12’s shooting style is standard among the Jeffs. (Lady Jeffs?). Right foot solidly on ground, left foot awkwardly raised? Really?

  4. @John S. Walters It’s the Crane shooting technique taught to great effect by Jeffs assistant coach Miyagi.

And on a sad note, Ken Howard of “White Shadow” fame has left us. Now there was a high school basketball coach.

  5. Her left foot is on the ground, its actually a passable form for a running jumper. Look again.

  6. Neil Diamond wrote it, Babaa Streisand sung it, and it fits perfectly in P1.

    And baby, I remember
All the things you taught me
    I learned how to laugh
And I learned how to cry
