Couldn’t Get Out of a DUI? Shoulda Called Foley!

Filed under: Central City Cretins, Fat Guys, Gil Thorp, Milford Idiots — teenchy @ 12:33 pm

Dark-haired Art Standish a/k/a Del “Bad Decisions” Bader has made the mistake of choosing Dennis and L-somethingorother to handle his DUI case. This bad news-givin’ law-talkin’ guy isn’t even making the effort to get Del’s case postponed until a more sympathetic judge can hear it. Nope, Del’s gettin’ stuck with the hangin’ judge. Doesn’t he know that everyone in Central City has it out for everyone in Milford?

Del should’ve gone to the Foley Law Group to take on his case. They’re obnoxious, but they’re thorough! Maybe these shysters will make enough in fees off Del to buy a legible sign.

  1. Del shoulda known he picked the wrong law firm as soon as he saw those VHS tapes on the bookshelves.

  2. Could the judge be Hollerin’ Halloran? He of the $50 fine and 50 minute lecture? Probably not, he’d be about 130 years old by now.

  3. In the county in which I grew up, the judge who heard DUI cases had lost his daughter in an accident with a drunk driver. You might think that would’ve curbed drunk driving but it was a college town and I guess most of the students didn’t know that.

  4. Aw, gee wiz! I looked it up on YouTube and it’s actually Hollerin’ Hurdle not Halloran. My apologies and a “BANG! ZOOM!” for me.

  5. So, the bad news is that the judge is averse to plea bargains, meaning that poor Del will be charged with what he actually did?

  6. Huh. I leave town for a week, come back, nothing’s happened. Except Dennis Lehane now offers legal services, which does not bode well for Del “Meinhof” Bader.

  7. Well said, g2– Ulrike would bust him out of there in ninety seconds.
