This Week in Milford

Maybe Get A Second Opinion?

“Sure, I could try to bargain with the DA, but what would be the point? Plus, then I might miss my tee time.”

Panel three: At first, I thought that was a baseball cap in the foreground, but on second glance, now I’m thinking Milford branded chair.

  1. This lawyer not only looks like Gil, he puts the same amount of effort into lawyering that Gil does into coaching.

  2. 3P Hat Man: Like when Mike Wazowski got his picture on the cover of Business Shriek.

  3. Two weeks? Should be able to do that standing on your head. Use 2 weeks vacation from work and no one will be the weiser, Bud.

  4. Dil Thorp, Attorney At Law is about to get another bad review on Yelp.

I’m wondering about the mysterious objects behind the giant chair. Why do the Mudlarks have giant rolls of linoleum tile in their locker room?

  5. Steve Luhm really has those locker room floors shining.

  6. I have a sinking feeling about this. Boo and Kenzie are going to be marginal this season at best, as is probably True as well. ANOTHER season of jerk father and jerk son, this time powered by complications of a DWI conviction. I can’t wait. For the summer plot, I mean.

  7. Umm … vaganova … remember last summer’s plot?

  8. You’re right, Philip. But hope springs eternal, especially when you have the occasional Summer of Herk the Mauler. Last summer’s plot… As I remember, it was mostly about True and his fellow campers trying to evade hype. It did cement True as one of the all time GT good guys, but plot? What plot?

I guess I’m just expressing frustration with the what looks like a recycled version of a plot we have seen over and over. Kid is an asshole. We find his father is as well (Cause? Effect?) And we get to watch the unnecessary psychodrama take up the whole spring to no one’s benefit.
