This Week in Milford

July 2, 2016

I’d be ticked off too if I was still in school on July 2.

Beyond that this is shaping up to make zero sense at all. True still playing, True’s misdirected anger, Gil playing True (what’s on the line here anyway? We’ve never been told), Gil’s odd sartorial choice of being in full uniform save for a polo shirt (he ain’t no Connie Mack, that’s for sure) – none of it. Well, maybe the misdirected anger, but still…

Join us next week as True pays tribute to his late BFF Boo by bonking six consecutive batters and blowing the save. The only potential drama will come in seeing whether True suffers an injury that threatens his college football career.

  1. Totally at a loss. Unless the Baders show up so True can bean a spectator, I’m not getting it. Capt Ken does appear concerned, though.

  2. All this preposterous story needs is Yoda showing up next to Gil.
“Twisted by the dark side, young Standish has become. The boy you trained, gone he is … consumed by Darth Bader”.

  3. Believe it or not, they havent played a game since MAY 20!! They had a light workout on June 20. 43 days between games; I didnt look to see when True pitched last, may do that tomorrow.

  5. If Bader’s Dad shows,
And is skulled by True’s fastball,
    This plot could make sense.
