Do I Care, Period?

Filed under: Boredom in Milford, Coach Kaz — timbuys @ 6:26 am

Today’s strip introduces Larry Arroyo in a bowling shirt… nope, I don’t care.

  1. Now what? Another turn in this never ending arc. Apparently Wigan doesn’t know how wrap up this rambling story line.

  2. Improved Dialogue, panel 3: “I’m sorry, son. Who are you and what are you talking about?”

  3. So Larry has to take his moms to her annual dental appointment….her 3rd DUI cost her her license. Meanwhile….Inquiring minds want to know..why hasn’t master baders dad posted bail so he can go home? Why doesn’t Milford have a summer vacation? As we approach the middle of August…jury selection should take us through September, probably competing with the playdowns for media attention. The trial ends in mid December and we can finally move on to golf. What’s the over/under on MacBader opening a vein in the locker room?

  4. Larry Arroyo In A Bowling Shirt also opened for the Mystic Pranks once.

  5. Kaz knows Ms. Arroyo will be fine, all right. He’s not wasting what little portion of summer remains.

  6. Is it the in thIng at Milford to sport a tonsure hair style. Looks like Larry has jumped on the band wagon.

  7. Just a WAG here: Bronson Arroyo’s nephew here disappears off the face of the earth after today. Barry, left to pick up the pieces at second base, remains ignored by the rest of the team until a guilt-tripped (Gil-tripped?) True utters some platitudes while packing the trunk of his car. True then exits, stage right, for Winston-Salem by way of Hawaii.

Another WAG: The football arc starts on Labor Day with Gil and Mimi flashing back to a summer vacation never seen in the strip. Maybe we get a single panel with photo corners, Batiuk style.

  8. Thanks Pat. Let’s start with “R”? [ding ding ding ding]
    I’ll buy a vowel. “A”? [ding ding]
    A “Y”? [ding ding]
How ’bout another vowel. “O”? [ding ding]

  10. […] to do with his father’s accident, then shun him, then repeat the entire cycle again and again, then act all pissy because the kid doesn’t want to be around us so we can repeat the cycle […]
