A Little Plot Sprain – er, Twist

tmgil160917

You’d be forgiven for thinking that’s Patrick Stewart or Sir Stirling Moss (who turns 87 today!) but no, it’s Trainer Rick Scott, in a close-up the likes of which we’ve not seen in some time.  Rick looks like he’s sporting an extra digit on his right hand but I could be mistaken.

Heather Burns’ attitude toward Rick reminds me of this old Judy Tenuta chestnut:

Is Heather planning to use her spot on Rick’s staff to get to the football field and the placekicker’s spot? Or does she have some other ulterior motive, like satisfying her ankle fetish?

  3. Many ex-athletes become trainers, what hogwash that its a ‘first’. Its another way to stay in the game when either your skills peter out or you dont have the competitive drive anymore.

  5. Wait ’til she gets a load of Hamani Gaines’ hammertoe! (sure he probably graduated 3 years ago, but it could be a while before we get any fresh lineup info)

  6. Not sure I am really psychologically prepared for an arc where I’ll be regularly checking the box next to the Trainer Rick Scott category…

  8. I admit I am stumped where this is going– I had thought Heather would quickly– even precipitously– become the kicker for the football team. I don’t remember if Barely Bader plays football. If not, we will have to wait for spring for Heather to soak his jock in liniment, so in the meantime… ? Heather and Kevin, up a tree? As I say, I am at a loss.
