This Week in Milford

Same as it ever was, same as it ever was, same as it ever was..

More dumb questions we heard before, with no answers, Gil with his fresh cup of joe telling Aaron he’s on the bench again due to inconsistent play, the reason for said behavior will be revealed at the end of the plot, not now, when we could use it so we can MOVE ON TO SOMETHING ELSE ALREADY!!

Sing it David Byrne:

  1. As billytheskink has noted a couple of times, in the infinitesimal times Mike Granger has asked an increasingly disinterested and uninterested-those words oddly blend at this point-Ken Brown why did the chicken cross the road(to get to Those Apartments on Poplar!!!), the panels could have been filled with action from Mimi & The Gang in its stead. But noooooo, beating a dead horse and discussing the methods thereof tacked on with butchering techniques straight from the kitchen of Emiril or Paula Deen takes priority over the raison d’être of this strip, KIDS PLAYING SPORTS. There, I feel better. Mike & Ken are engaged in an endless dialogue only “Another World” could love. At least soaps like that cut to an Oxydol commercial. And when Jack LaLanne, when he wasn’t goin’ to town on his exercise bike, was on a roll about his Power Juicer, Trix perhaps wasn’t the most logical TV ad when Jack temporarily cut out, but your eyes got a break from the action. The girls b-ball team must still be in the cryogenic lab to be thawed by maybe, oh, March?
