Panel 1: I would love to see what McMansionHell would have to say about the Soto’s swank suburban Milford abode.
Panel 2: Dubai is somewhere around 9-10 hours ahead of the time depending on the time of year and where Milford is actually located, so let’s hope Pop’s Soto didn’t tie one on the night before.
Panel 3: I suppose I could try to parse the dialog here, but I’d rather point out that the Big Brother and his Little Sister here are both walking through who knows how many oil and grease patches in the parking lot.

Somebody went gonzo on the Lego blocks in P1. A few stray dark-colored (because everything’s B & W so the darks could be purple or green and the whites could be French vanilla or beige for all we know) bricks, scratch that, blocks accentuate the completely redesigned Collinsport mansion favoring neo-Cubism. This style must have been with the blessing of Barnabas Collins. No more cobwebs or musty hallways in this structure.
I’m still wondering about the purpose of the garage overhang or the gable window over the garage. I suppose the latter(excess lumber could explain the former) is where Barnabas stores his coffin. Sure, put tarp over the window during the day(after all, he is a vampire) and he’s in business. I couldn’t imagine a lawn mower up there.

Big Brother also appears to be a world-class freeloader, given the amount of time he spends Chez Soto.

Anybody else wondering why we have an uncle on the scene instead of a father? No, the father’s absence is apparently explained by an overseas job assignment– I’m just wondering why Rubino chose this angle. To cite the Annie Potts character from Ghostbusters, commenting on Rick Moranis as the keymaster, “There’s something very strange about that man…”
