Open A Hole And/Or Go Over The Top!

Filed under: actual action, Exploding Eyeball Syndrome, football, Highlight reel — timbuys @ 10:14 am

I infer from Nick’s acrobatics that, although Kevin tried to open a hole, he’s worn out from that carry for three yards and a cloud of dust and is no longer able to block effectively. Well done, Gil.

This, however, is immaterial as Nick is the real decoy. Indeed, it’s looking grim for Oakwood as, not only were they focused on the secret Pelwecki, now they are eyeball explodingly shocked by this additional dissimulation. Well done, Gil.

  1. The “eligible” rule has changed a couple of times in the past. At one point, a player with a number 50-79 could be eligible if both the officials and the opponent had been notified. I say this because I suspect Palooka is going to be the one to score, possibly on a flat pass. Too late for a lateral and a run. Besides, things impossible elsewhere regularly occur in Mfnrd.

  2. The earliest that they will show the end result of this play won’t probably be until next Tuesday or so.

  3. Mike Fillion’s naked bootleg is already in the endzone.
The rest of Mike Fillion is at the 10 yard line.

  4. Yep! October 4th, and we are almost at the end of the first game of the season. With no progress on the talent show plot, or the concussion plot.

  5. I’m as lost as anyone else here. Days of foregrounding Rick Soto’s jerk uncle, and now no Soto, unless, under the goal line pileup, he is talking backward with a concussion. Is Palooka eligible? Is the quarterback, whistling, sidling toward the goal line with the ball behind his back? Has Gil devised the ultimate misdirection play? Will success spoil Jake Gyllenhaal?
