Tiki Can’t Really Dust for Vomit

gt11242018

Well this backfired

Subtlety’s not Joe’s forte

But is self-defense?

Bolek’s a dumbass

Use phone camera for this

It’s not Rick Soto

Whaddaya expect

From a guy who paints crosswalks

With tiny brushes?

Can film buff buddies

Jump in, make this a fair fight?

Outlook not so good

Now Mudlarks will need

Another new punter

Like Spinal Tap drummers

  1. Hitting Joe Bolek
To be fair to New Thayer
    We all wanted to

    Joe’s 90s haircut
Is he about to flip Pogs
    And then drink some Surge

    New Thayer thugs too
    Look like 90s alt-rockers
    I bought their cassette

  2. I’ll happily admit to having no experience choreographing teenage fisticuffs but I don’t think it’s beyond my ken to point out how nonsensical today’s ‘action’ is. I think my favorite part is that it appears as though Tiki has simply resumed his arms crossed pose after being accosted by Baldy.

  3. Tiki crossed the line here
Now Bolek must face the wrath
    Of the Clean Plate Club

    Does Joe have Plan B?
    Reinforcements and police?
    Magic 8Ball says..

  4. In the parking lot
    Tumult or milling around
    Crowd does not go wild

    Looks like September
    Warm friendly breezes and clouds
    Who packed the picnic?

  5. Stupid Joe Bolek
    Punting is harder with a
    Nikon up your ass

note: tripod would be better than Nikon…hindsight

  6. Mildest Tumult In Human History: Tiki’s jacket gets all wrinkled up.

  7. “Tumult Outside of New Thayer High”; a deep cut from one of his early electric albums, this track is considered a buried treasure by many of Dylan’s most devoted fans.

  8. I think we’re assuming this is set up as an ambush, and that the entire football team will jump out of the bushes in a second. But somebody has the fix on with the NT police, there are going to be some charges involved.

  9. I meant UNLESS somebody has the fix on.

  10. Someone is lurking
    The only question is who?
    Long lost Thorp children!

  11. Tumult at the school
    And a change of direction.
    The clouds do not care.

  12. Two things don’t work for me here:
    1. Why are we even doing this? Tiki seems to be the only one who thinks he has to prove the level of threat. Gil just appeared to accept it. Like he does everything else.
    2. So the New Thayer Yakuza is going to pound Tiki flat and/or destroy Bolek and his Handycam? Right on the front step of the school, with buses pulling up and students entering and only a hundred or so witnesses, some of whom might be responsible adults? Have teenage hoodlums gotten that much dumber than they were in my era?

  13. Not to dispute the take of our esteemed colleague Philip, teenaged boys have always been dumber than we think. I was a public school teacher for many years and have endless stories of boys losing their tempers and committing offenses in front of dozens of witnesses. Clearly the Mfnrd boys have set up something equivalent to the offsides trap in soccer, and we’ll just have to wait until Monday to see what form it takes. Sorry– Wednesday– there will be Kurosawa-like miniaturizations of each step of the story.
