‘Scuse me while I whip this up*

Oooh, hubris! Love it!

So when do the too-cool-for-school girls get their comeuppance? When Molly goes on the DL for chemical burns after Milo accidentally on purpose tips her lab experiment over on her?  When fist bumps go wrong and somebody breaks a hand? Or when another rando MHS student fails to look up from his smartphone, slips on the highly polished floors and crashes into Molly, injuring her horribly? Things are going too well for the Lady Mudlarks – and their behavior becoming too arrogant – for this Era of Good Feelings to last.

Today’s bizarre cameos: Ted Cruz as Milo, Señor y Señorita Wences in the Milford infield. Rocki Prado has a Twitter feed but there’s not much gleaned from it. Props to the Chief for giving her lustrous hair to rival Gilchrist-era Aunt Fritzi and earrings that more closely approximate what girls currently wear than what are usually seen in Milford.

*Which is what I say to myself every day I write a post here.

  1. Today’s installment is a nominee for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s version of The Razzies, because of its blatant endorsement of casual texting.

  2. I don’t think we’ve seen this many earrings since Aaron Aagard’s squeeze Molly O’Herlihy. Not that Molly wore more earrings than Rocki, but that Rocki is wearing as many earrings as we’ve seen total in this strip since Molly’s appearance.

  3. Looks like Rocki is sportin’ a nose ring too. While this story has been annoying in so many ways, it does have possibilities of becoming better if these female clods do, in fact, get their comeuppance, as previously mentioned.

  4. Milo: “wait….are you saying that fuckin’ walmart knit caps and stuffed animals are cool but I’m not?…wait here….I’ll be right back” Maybe this is a story leading to some kind of a school riot.

  5. We had, briefly, a fragile beginning of a story line about Linda’s waning passion for her primary sport. That could have been interesting, possibly even insightful – but, at worst, better than the second best bowler at MHS.

  6. So, the lesson so far is blowing off unscheduled pre-season softball scrimmages to fulfill prior commitments to other activities led to no subsequent consequences in the softball season. Got it.

  7. […] And, everyone in the school who has one wears it and everyone who doesn’t wishes they did? (Sorry, Milo.) Well, I guess that makes as much sense as anything, which is to say practically none at […]
