Drive By lunacy

Filed under: ?, Just plain sad, Milford Idiots, Milford Weirdos — robmize2013 @ 7:17 pm

As the pieces of this puzzle start coming together we find Vic driving Dougs car by the girls as they pose for a team piture outside the school. Of course Doug arranged the whole thing so Vic could look cool for Tessi, which is like telling a horse you love it after it shits on you while youre washing it.

If Tessi is impressed with THAT, she’s even more of a moron then either of these 2 dufusses, who again dont know when to quit doing stupid stuff to impress a girl. Good thing there didnt Happen to be any traffic on the road, as a screeching pullaway from 0 to 65 in 2 seconds could easily result in a collision with some old fart driving 5 mph under the speed limit on his way to the barber.

Yes I peeked at the Saturday strip, and by golly we find out how Vic pulled this off. If thats what he’s gotta do to impress Tessi, well, suffice it to say, he didnt get what he deserved.

  1. I peaked ahead too. Tied with hundreds of other things as the stupidest thing I ever saw. Is this supposed to be a burn? I don’t get it. Just plain duuuuuhhhhmmmm! Mudhoney fans like ned might get the “Into Yer Schtick “ reference.

  2. Tessi’s List of Probable Responses:

    1. “THAT AIN’T EVEN YOUR CAR YOU POSER!”

    2. “Feeling good, Vic!! Oh, and by the way I’m STILL not going to touch your peener! Sorry! Nice try, though!”

    3. “You think your little borrowed shitpile impresses me? I’m a Mopar Girl and you’d better be rockin’ some HEMI power like a real man if you’re dreaming of ever porting my heads!!”

    4. “Lest your ungrateful ass forgets, I’m the one who brought you into the cool kids world! Without me you’d still be livestreaming Animal Crossing with your antisocial no-pussy-getting nerd crew! Don’t ever bite the hand that feeds you, twerp! Now go home and jack off some more!”

    5. Tessi doesn’t say anything, but shows a half-smirking face of disappointment while holding up her thumb and index finger two inches apart…

    6. Tessi smiles and blows a kiss, thinking to herself, “These utter fuckin’ morons really believed me when I fed them that bullshit about not wanting to take him to prom because of his ratty old van?? How gullible can people get? I should have said I wasn’t going out with him because he didn’t have enough body piercings and face tattoos — How funny would that have been?”

  3. I thought that baseball game last summer was fuckin stupid, but these two nimrods trying to drive a car in that manner to try and show up some girl who couldn’t give a less of a fuck about them is just as dumb as that stupid game. Yeah…. we really showed her a thing or two, Beav but don’t tell your dad Ward. He’s gonna give you the business if he hears about this

  4. 7. “Aren’t there some pee-wee rec league games over at the Y for you to announce, you wannabe ESPY Awards nominee?”

    8. “Good on you, mate! My boyfriend drives a Bimmer — Maybe you’d like to race him sometime?”

    9. “Hey Connie Kalitta! Peppermint Patty over here just challenged you to a chickee run! You ain’t skeert, is you?!”

    10. “It’s funny because Toonces the Driving Cat could literally keep the rubber side down and on the asphalt longer than you can!”

  5. The MST3K plate is a nice touch that screams “NERRRRRRRRDDDDDD!”

  6. Good find!!

    MST = “MILFORD SPORTS TANNOY”…

3K = Odds (3000-to-1) Vic Doucette gets to second base on prom night…

  7. Since Vic realized several strips back that Tessita had been hosing him, isn’t this more likely intended to embarrass her than to impress her? Just pointing out an alternative explanation– the plan is no less stupid either way.

  8. Literally every car in Milford has an MST3K vanity plate. The Chief blew it on this one since many GTO owners choose to use the GR-RRR! plate.

Since most of you have already seen the Saturday strip, the Saturday post will be anticlimactic. It will be up directly.

  9. Yeah, I thought this was dumb but then was stunned to see that the next strip was even dumber.

    Comment by MopMan — March 28, 2021 @ 10:09 am

  10. Vanity plates remind me of the Far Side strip with Godzilla driving a car with a vanity plate “ I8NY”

    Comment by franku2016 — March 28, 2021 @ 11:18 am

  11. @Mop… yeah… next strip should be Doug tellin Vic “… hey… let me show you how to polish a knob…”

  12. Traditional fiction three-act structure:
Act I: introduce characters and situation, leading to a major dramatic incident that will drive the plot the rest of the way
Act II: complications and subplots as the protagonist tries to achieve his goal, culminating in another incident that will lead to a resolution
Act III: last of the struggle, plot and subplots are concluded (frequently they are cleverly tied together) in an ending the reader finds satisfying
    Gil Thorp three-act structure:
Act I: introduce characters (some of whom show hints of being interesting) and situation, leading to not much of anything
Act II: characters meander as plot and subplots are stopped and re-started, culminating in the realization, mid-way through week 12, that it’s time to wrap it up
Act III: plot and subplots are entangled, rather like four cats being duct-taped together. Story does not end so much as it simply stops.

  13. Philip has perfectly characterized the last few GT “plots.”
