This Week in Milford

His Good Side Is… Straight Ahead?

Looks like we’re only ever gonna see games where Ggerg starts from here on in. No need to bother with details like a rotation when they don’t serve the square peg of a story getting hammered (pun intended) into the round hole of realism.

The Central kids either didn’t get the Oakwood memo or got it and promptly forgot about it, bunting the ball almost straight back to – or only slightly left of – the mound. (Seems like that memo should’ve included a note to hit back to the pitcher on a line drive, not on the ground.) How the Hammer ended up over there after his follow-through is unclear except as a device for the Chief to indulge in his recent shoe bottom fetish.

Boy, Ggerg’s teammates sure like patting his bottom. They must realize they won’t have many more chances left. Speaking of bottom, what’s that white thing hanging off of Ggerg’s rear end? Speculate away, gentle readers.

  1. Greggggggg got to that spot after his follow-through because he’s “nifty”. It’s obvious that these teams that Milford is always playing against must really suck, even more than this story does, if all that they are getting is 2 or 3 runs off Magoo here. What’s also obvious is that Rubin has never ever actually played competitive baseball, at any level, because if he did, he would understand what a fuckin’ fairy tale that this story is, and write something that is more in line with the GT stories that Jack Berrill wrote back in the day.

  2. This storyline is bad and Rubin should feel bad… You know, if Rubin used some kind of magic or sci-fi or a fairy godmother to explain this, it would STILL be more plausible than what we’re reading here.

So Greggg Haaam is officially that Jedi Knight from Star Wars Rebels who actually became a better Jedi after losing his sight…? I don’t remember his name, but he had that smokin’ hot Twilek girlfriend and I do remember that…

  3. As Hitorque and Frank have mentioned, this is ludicrous. Remember The Assassins on WTBS Wrestling when Gordon Soley was at the mike? Harley Race, Ole Anderson, Ted DiBiase, Dusty Rhodes, Maniac Mark Lewin, Mr. Wrestling #2, etc.?
That’s The Assassins’ grandson in P2. Loser gets unmasked after the Playdowns. Are you ready?
