Hey jailbird, those are super-bizarro earrings. Someone else asked about those recently…rather than repeat my reply here, check out this thread: https://gilthorp.wordpress.com/2006/11/20/6-fans-in-search-of-an-artist/ Doesn’t help much, but I at least found a link in the archives that confirms they are earrings and not giant ear tumors or something.

So they ARE earrings! I too am perplexed why they would give him pearl earrings. It’s so Barbara Bush. I just about fell off my chair when that dude said “Nice earrings” when introduced to the new coach.

I heard a rumor over on the Comics Curmudgeon that ‘Milford’ is based on Milford, CT., where I lived for some years as a child. Is this true? And if it is, I’m never going back there again! WTF happened?! I’ll check back here as often as I can remember to-premature senility, y’know. Thanks in advance.
